Stonebwoy Burniton, born Livingstone Etse Satekla is a Ghanaian Afro pop, dancehall and reggae artiste who hails from Anlo,the Volta Region.

He was born on March 5, 1988 in Ashaiman, Accra, the fourth in a family of seven siblings. Stonebwoy stands as one unique African artiste with a sense of resilience, dedication & purpose.
Stonebwoy got his high school certificate at Methodist Day Secondary School after which he graduated at the University Professional Studies with a degree in Marketing in the year 2013.
In 2017, Stonebwoy tied the knot with Louisa Ashong, a medical doctor and graduate of the Kwame University of Science and Technology and are blessed with two children, Jidula and Janam.
His 1st two albums Grade 1 and Necessary Evil are captivating debut that heralds the arrival of a gifted and significant artist, marking his territory. He recorded his first track in a family studio a decade ago.
Stonebwoy has never looked back. Making the history surrounding the emergence of an African legend was when in first year in Senior High School, Stonebwoy met up with a radio DJ/Presenter, Doctor Duncan who at the time was the host of Kasahari, a real time rap battle programme. Out of that programme came the likes of Sakordie, Dr Cryme and many other relevant rappers in Ghana.

His first radio hit, Makuma (My Heart) was released in second year at Senior High School plus several others that followed up later. By third year, he had amassed for himself a flaming underground popularity and went on to release another hit titled Empress which held him up years after leaving High School in 2007.
Stonebwoy soon started work with S24 studios in 2008 after meeting Dansoman-based Reggae and Dancehall legend Samini who later signed him into his label Samini Music.During this time is when Stonebwoy released his 1st studio album ‘Grade 1′
Stonebwoy established his own record label called Burniton Music Group (BMG), which was made up of some close friends and industry stalwarts and was financed by a businessman.
In 2014, he released his second studio album ‘Necessary Evil’ under his newly formed label BMG which has numerous hit songs on it.
In 2017, he released his third studio album ‘Epistles of Mama’ an album he dedicated to his late mother Catherine Lucy Aku Ametepe Satekla.
The album contains 24 tracks which featured local and foreign acts across Africa, Jamiaca and Europe. Some of the acts include Sean Paul, King Promise, Burna Boy among others

As one of the best African stars, Stonebwoy has a landed a couple of endorsements deals under his belt, which include the official Samsung ambassador in 2018 and Voltic Natural Mineral Water in 2019.
Later that year he launched his newly established clothing line in Ashaiman in a store called the ‘Bhim Shop’ where he sells branded outfits of his BHIM brand.
BHIM is an abbreviation for a catchphrase he coined which is ‘Bless His Imperial Majesty’.
In 2020, Stonebwoy released his fourth studio album dubbed ‘Anloga Junction’.
Today, the result of hard work is certainly paying off for the young chap with collaborations with international acts from Africa, UK, Jamaica such as Jah Vinci, Trey Songz, Gappy Ranks, Randy Valentine, Sakordie, Wayne Wonder, Laza Morgan, Samini, Obrafour, Black Prophet, R2Bees, Patoranking, General Pype Stylogee, Burna Boy, Morgan Heritage, Chris Martin, I Octane, Kranium,Keri Hilson and many others.
